US exchanges experienced a weak end asked Tuesday night. Dow Jones fell 1.1 percent to 17,776.12, while the broader S & amp; P 500 index ended down 0.9 percent to 2067.89.
Technology Heavy Nasdaq fell 0.9 percent to 4900.88
Investors fear a weak result season the next few weeks. Manager Eric Wiegand at US Bank Wealth Management says to Marketwatch.com that investors hope they will not be as weak as feared. But much is at stake with markets close to the recent peaks.
S & amp; P 500 rose 0.9 percent in Q1, the ninth consecutive quarter in the black. The index has fallen 2.2 percent from the top 2 March.
Nasdaq is up nearly four percent in the last quarter.
Strong consumer confidence figures
index of consumer expectations in the United States, also known as Consumer Confidence Index, ended at 101.3 in March.
According to Bloomberg, it was expected an index of 96.4.
