In a recent survey conducted by DN is a professor and former chief economist at Statoil, Klaus Mohn the biggest oil optimist.
Mohn predicts according DN oil prices around $ 80 by the end of 2015 and around $ 90 at the end by 2016.
– When tightening first come, I think oil prices can come up quickly, says Mohn said.
The professor pointed out that the current low prices will make both offer muted and demand increases.
– When we get a tighter market, says Mohn.
He says nevertheless that he envisions an oil above $ 100 at first.
– With the volatility we’ve had in the oil market can not of course exclude that price comes over $ 100 in the foreseeable future, but the next few years I will be surprised if we see an oil price of $ 100, says Mohn .
