Decline on the Oslo Stock Exchange – Sunnmørsposten

The big winner Friday Seadrill. The rig company controlled by John Fredriksen, has claimed E24 reached an agreement with banks on the first step of a refinancing plan. Shares rose the first half hour with nearly 14 percent, but normalized somewhat during the day and ended up 4.75 percent at the close of trading.

Also DNO and Prosafe step, these companies operating in the oil industry. The share price rose by respectively 4.56 and 4.28 percent.

In the opposite direction went Frontline, down 3.81 percent, followed by DNB with minus 2.37 percent and Yara with a decline of 1.68 percent.

of the other major companies on the stock exchange, Statoil – as usual most traded – down 1.52 percent and Telenor down 0.79 percent. Norwegian Hydro noted for an increase of 1.45 percent, and Orkla a marginal increase of 0.21 percent.

Oil prices rose steadily after the opening, then fall as it approached the end of the week the last trading day. A barrel of North Sea oil ended being traded at $ 46.95, down 0.72 percent, while a barrel of US light crude fell by 0.35 percent to $ 45.50 a barrel. (© NTB)
