Constantly new records on the stock exchanges in New York – OBI Online

Only twice since 1999 has it happened that all three major indices on the stock exchanges in New York has risen to new all-time together today. The first time was last week, and today it happened again.

The increase came partly in the wake of higher oil prices and a better than expected mood among home builders.

The Dow Jones rose 0.32 percent to 18,636.05 and the S & amp; P 500 rose 0.28 percent to 2190.15. Nasdaq ended up 0.56 percent to 5,262.92.

For each share that fell there were two stocks that rose.

On the Nasdaq rose six of the ten most traded, with Apple up 1.2 percent, while Facebook fell 0.8 percent.

on the NYSE rose Twitter 6.8 percent on rumors that Apple and Twitter may have something going on.

Light oil rose 2.8 percent to $ 45.74, while Brent ended the day with a rise of 2.5 percent to $ 48.35.

the jump in oil prices also sent energy and oil service stocks up, with Shale oil producer Chesapeak Energy up 9.6 percent, while Chevorn rose mem more bekskjedne 0.6 percent and ExxonMobil was virtually unchanged. Rig giant Transocean ended up 5.4 percent.
