Marine Harvest has decided not to seek flexible biomass scheme, disclosed in a statement.
The company refers to the offer from the Directorate of Fisheries to Norwegian fish farmers 30 June this year.
“After careful consideration, including the length of the trial period, costs, potential production and sustainability, Marine Harvest has decided not to apply for flexible maximum allowed biomass,” says the report.
