Jay-Z waved goodbye to Norwegian CEO – TV 2

43 years old Tonstad has been CEO of Aspiro, the company that owns both Tidal and Wimp since 17 April. The company is controlled by rapper Jay-Z and numerous other music’s superstars. Since he took office, Jay-Z has replaced two top executives and two directors, in addition to the entire Board of Aspiro, writes Dagens Næringsliv.

– The only thing I can confirm is that I have resigned, said Tonstad said.

17. April took Tonstad as CEO of Aspiro after Andy Chen. Tonstad had also guided the company for just over a year from December 2012 to January 2014. April 20 was the entire board replaced. In May both marketing director Are Thu and product director Ervin Draganovic go, the newspaper said.

Tidal is a Norwegian-Swedish flow service that our acquisition by Project Panther Bidco for 464 million Swedish kronor. This company is controlled by, among others, Jay-Z. Tidal is a relaunch of Wimp-name, which is now being phased out. The company has about 120 employees, with headquarters in Oslo and New York. (© NTB)
