English is the world’s best low-cost carrier on long-haul routes, according to airline passengers worldwide in a new ranking from Skytrax World Airline Awards.
For the third consecutive year, Norwegian has also been named as Europe’s best low-cost carrier.
CEO Bjørn Kjos and selected employees from pilot and cabin corps in English accepted the award during the Paris Air Show today.
– I am very proud and humbled by these important recognitions from our passengers . It is the third consecutive year, Norwegian has been named Europe’s best low-cost carrier and it is absolutely fantastic that we have also been named the world’s best low-cost carrier on long distance for the first time, says Kjos in a message.
category “best European low-cost carrier” was also EasyJet and Germanwings nominated. In class “best low-cost carrier on long routes” were also JetStar and AirAsiaX nominated.
