A little out of the blue drummed Transport Minister Ketil Solvik Olsen along to a press conference in Kristiansand Saturday. Not even municipal leadership was informed until a few hours before the press conference. Message Minister would convey was that the new veiselskapet be added to Kristiansand. Grenland and lost the battle for the government jobs.
County Mayor Terje Riis-Johansen is very disappointed over government’s decision. The Varden, he says that it is a horrible bad decision.
– We believe veiselskapet should lie in Grenland, he says, adding that Kristiansand was Grenlands toughest competitor.
Maybe something bold assertion. So far PD has ascertained was not Telemark Finalist when the award was going to happen once.
