Exchange crushes old records – Seadrill up 10 percent – HegnarOnline

Oslo Stock Exchange opened up as expected Tuesday in the wake of a price jump of oil since the exchange closed before Easter. Immediately after opening the main index reached new historical peak. After the break has upturn intensified. The clock 10:35 is the main index up 2.1 per cent to the entire 635.01.

The old record of 24 June last year was 632.37.

The Stock Exchange has risen 9 , 5 percent so far this year.

Oil prices jumped Monday
Oil prices rose over five percent Monday. The price hike came after Saudi Arabia raised the price for crude oil they sell to Asia for the second consecutive month.

Tuesday falls imiidlertid price 1.8 percent to $ 57.06, while the price was $ 55.16 when Oslo Stock Exchange before Easter.

Statoil rising 3.1 percent to 148.50 kroner. This stock is up 14.6 percent in 2015.

Subsea 7 climbs 6.2 percent and PGS is up 5.3 percent.

Siem Offshore contract, right
Siem Offshore reports that Siem Offshore Contractors awarded a contract in connection with a cable system to Veja Mate Offshore Windfarm project outside Germany.

The contract is over 100 million euros .

Siem Offshore rising 12.1 percent to 2.13 million.

Update from Polarcus
Polarcus Limited have come with a fleet update Q1. In this it is stated that the company’s seismic fleet had a fleet utilization of 47 percent in contract seismic.

Polarcus opened up, but is now down 9.3 percent to 39 cents.

EMAS already out with numbers
Oslo Børs company EMAS Offshore Limited reports a profit after tax of $ 9.7 million in Q1 2015, which ended February 28, compared with 4.0 million in same period last year.

The share fall 2.1 percent to 2.35 million.
