- Enterprises report zero growth – HegnarOnline

Dagens Næringsliv’s economic barometer, which measures the outlook for Norwegian industry, falls markedly. Norwegian business leaders report weaker outlook for both profitability as sales and employment.

– Survey confirms that oil turnaround now coming into the economy, says chief economist Harald Magnus Andreassen Swedbank about the tendency survey for the first quarter 2015.

The seasonally adjusted index is at its lowest level since the financial crisis, according to Andreassen indicates barometer reach a GDP growth for mainland Norway at zero percent.

– Enterprises report zero growth in the mainland economy, says Andreassen.

DN barometer is thus clearly weaker than Norges Bank’s economic measurement. Norges Bank’s regional network was weaker than expected, but signaled growth in GDP for mainland Norway around one percent.

The numbers behind DN economic barometer retrieved by research company Opinion and measuring business leaders’ expectations for employment, turnover and profitability the next twelve months. Collect index, which can be 100 at the most and minus 100 on the smallest, is 26 in the first quarter. There is a decrease of five points since the first quarter last year. (© NTB)
