Do “stop halfway”

– I looked forward to leading the company in the coming years, and I looked forward to helping it to do better on their own, he said.

But he emphasizes that he has not had any desire to “stop halfway.”

He had only been a few weeks in the job as CEO of BG Group when it this week became known that Shell will buy the company. Lund is leaving the company when the merger is completed, probably about about a year.

Rejects his becoming minister

Financial Times says Lund that he has not yet had “two minutes” to to think about what he will do afterwards. But he denies rumors that he can get a ministerial post in the Government of Norway.

Lund received very good wages in BG when he went to the company from his position as CEO of Statoil. The agreement provoked strong reactions in the UK, and the sum was eventually revised down.

Do not know how much “severance package” is

Now Lund says he does not know how much he will sit again when he stops.

– The fact is that I do not know how large the sum is going to be. It is first clear when the transaction is completed, he said.
