- Look for a general or banker and turn up salary – Aftenposten

Friday it became clear that Nav chief Joakim Lystad get fired by Minister Robert Eriksson. Elin Ørjasæter and headhunter Per-Andre Marum believes Siri Hatlen is a good candidate to take over.

– She has been Chairman numerous locations, including Lånekassen, she is known to be glittering sharp, just the right brutal and with a rock-solid integrity, says Ørjasæter.

She believes the new Nav boss must first and foremost be a person with strong operational experience, from a bank or similar major operating systems which in addition should have a personality that General Sverre Diesen, who was military chief for four years, or Lieutenant General Robert Mood, who has broad management experience from the defense and the UN.

– Do not hide from the press

– NAV need a leader who is tough and fearless in relation to politicians, one that dares to stand on unpopular decisions and not run and hide when the press call in sensitive individual cases, writes Ørjasæter on his blog.

She believes the new Nav director must lured with far better pay than has been customary. According E24 has Lystad, who has been head of 19,000 employees, had a salary of around 1.3 million.

– Subject that I do not know what Joakim Lystad had in wages, but assumes that he had wages below half million, this is not enough to get the right person, she says.

Ørjasæter envisions a person who has worked with the management of large transaction heavy processes, and who has experience in operating large organizations.

She believes such a person also will dare to do anything with Director layer Nav.

– You sit there a number of people must be reconsidered. They stood on the bridge of a huge rusty tanker little too long, they have learned to Fendrig of criticism with pretty words and they have learned to be obedient to ever new meaningless politician wants.

– Wages are essential

– Do you think someone with a background in the banking industry or the military high level fancy such a job?

– Definitely, but then you must do something with salary .

Headhunter Per Andre-Marum in Panamera IMD completely agree with Ørjasæter that salary is important.

– It is paradoxical that the wages for a seller Telenor is at the same level as the Director of NAV, which manages large parts of the state budget.

He believes that the new director in addition to the properties Ørjasæter highlights should have a good understanding of how IT systems support processes.

Per-Andre Marum do not think it will be easy to find the best Nav boss.

Proposes Siri Hatlen

He pulls nevertheless portray former Siri Hatlen, ( former director at Oslo University) Louise Kathrine Dedichen (first woman in Norway who is appointed officer of Flag Officer / General level) and Ketil Olsen (Chief of Defence Staff’s organization department.) as potential candidates.

Ørjasæter on their side some believe can be triggered by challenges Nav director.

– Many heavy managerial jobs in the private sector is exciting, but the heavy jobs in the public sector is more much greater social importance. It is clear that people who want to leave a trace will find such jobs attractive. But to dare to take the job, one must also believe that you can succeed, that have their own bosses in the back. It is in this case the politicians, primarily Minister. So if labor minister Robert Eriksson fails to put in place a heavy leader politicians should go in themselves and ask themselves what they can do differently.

Never rigged

– Joakim Lystad was never rigged to lead Nav. He had neither relevant CV or right personality for this particular job, says Elin Ørjasæter.

Per-Andre Marum completely agree.

– He was the only one who thanks yes to this job four years ago. Relevant applicants stood in the offing. I can hardly imagine who will take a position as it appears today: Poor paid and devastating for his career, says headhunter Per Second Marum.

Aftenposten has been in contact with Siri Hatlen, she replies that she on principle never commenting s pørsmål about future employment opportunities.
