US exchanges experienced a small rally on Tuesday night after a weak opening. Markets turned when the American governor Janet Yellen came with signs that the central bank will be cautious regarding future interest rate increases. She pointed to increased global risk of slower growth in China and the prospect of commodity prices, with oil leading the way.
The Dow Jones ended up 0.6 percent to 17,633.11, while the broader S & amp; P 500 index climbed 0.9 percent to 2,055.01.

Nasdaq rose less than 1.7 percent to 4,846.62.
