John Fredriksen: – It looks really bad out – OBI Online

John Fredriksen predict downturn in tank and looks according to Tradewinds about purchase possibilities in both dry cargo and tanker in the wake of the sale of Marine Harvest shares for 4.4 billion.

– The market for dry cargo ships look really bad out now. Recently I received an offer of an eight year old Capesize carrier ten million dollars. This is the worst period in the dry cargo since 1986, when it was really lousy. Going forward, I think prices of vessels and freight rates will also fall in tanker trade, says Fredriksen according dn.no to shipping newspaper.

Fredriksen will channel more of their investments in listed companies.

– We thinking primarily invest in listed companies. Fortunately, we as a group in very good condition. It will be fun times ahead, says Fredriksen to Tradewinds.
