The value of the shares listed on the heavy industrial Dow Jones index rose by 0.64 percent to 17,265.99 points, while the broad-based S & amp; P 500 index ended at 2,011.36 points, up 0.49 percent from Wednesday.
Both indices set a new record.
The value of the shares quoted on the technology heavy Nasdaq index rose 0.68 percent to 4,593.43 points.
