Get sold to TDC. According to the company are cable television operations of TDC (YouSee) and Get Scandinavia’s largest digital TV and broadband company with 1.7 million households.
The sale takes place after a lengthy process, where the current owners of Get – Quadrangle Capital Partners II and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners – have considered both an IPO and sale to industrial buyers.
Gunnar Evensen continue as CEO of Get and will have the task of leading the coordination of Get and the Norwegian operations of TDC .
TDC’s acquisition of Get is subject to approval by the Competition Authority.
It is expected that the transaction will be finalized during the fourth quarter of 2014.
Leaders owns 8 percent
