– We know that a leader just need to give a little signal, a nod or a thumbs up as sufficient to give the green light to commit a illegal act. But in this case there is more than that. There is a clear incitement of Enger faced Ken Wallace, said chief public prosecutor Marianne Djupesland Økokrim Tuesday morning.

Djupesland said it is clear that former legal director Kendrick Wallace and EVP Daniel Clauw was the active parties that contract and ensured that the payment of 1 , $ 5 million to the oil minister’s son in Libya were performed.
But also Enger and Tor Holba gave clear signal to the illegal transfers, claims Økokrim.
All four defendants deny culpability in the matter . Enger and Tor Holba say they did not know that it was paid money to minister’s son in Libya before it got a payment late summer 2008. Then it was already gone a payment.

According to Økokrim was agreement between Wallace and beds that Wallace would travel to Libya and meet ministerial son, but that he would otherwise inform beds as possible.
