John Brendmoe has sold out of almost everything have owned and in Norway. Now he has also sold fight dwelling in Kongeveien 57 Nordstrand. Brendmoe let out property 35 million for just two and a half weeks ago, Finance writes newspaper.
Now the property sold. But not anywhere near 35 million. Brendmoe struck when he got a bid of 28.65 million kroner – all 6.35 million, or 20 percent below asking price.
Nokas lawyer
Buyer’s lawyer Abdelilah SAEM (49), which was defending in Nokas case. He was recently in the limelight last summer when police after a crackdown on a workshop in Mekonomen chain on Hauketo came over 20 foreigners who lived in the old offices in the property. Six of them were arrested for violating the Immigration Act, Finance writes newspaper.
Attorney SAEM was the owner of the building, but he explained that he did not know of the 20 foreigners who were located in the building.
SAEM should have looked at a number of properties in the price range around 30 million before he struck and bought Brendmoe stately villa, which is stylishly decorated by interior designer Helene Hennie.
Cost almost 25 million.
Brendmoe even bought the property in 2009 and immediately started a major expansion which included guesthouses and double garage with apartment. Brendmoe paid 14.5 million for the property, but, according to Finansavisen have cost the many millions.
Sources who know the villa estimate of Finance newspaper that there must be invested 8-10 million after purchase which implies that Brendmoe must have a cost of up to 25 million. DNB Boligkreditt in 2010 pledged 20 million in property.
When Brendmoe has sold for 28.65 million, it means that master painter can extract a small gain, but nowhere near as big gains asking price would suggest.
Sold out everything

During recent years Brendmoe sold out almost everything he owns and has in Norway. Autumn 2013 he sold what he had real estate operations Stig Atle Johnsen and Hans Kristian Aamodt Mosking.

“We sell out everything of private properties – houses, country houses, mountain huts and other properties. I’ve been wanting to do something else and come to move far from Europe. ” When the quote appeared in print, he jerked out with the following email: “We are globetrotters who travel a lot, and possible investments abroad does not mean that we are escaping the country. I have wife, children, employees, my company, hostel, residence and my ministry in Oslo. “
