The rise comes as the oil price remains fairly stable. A barrel of North Sea oil was Thursday morning traded for $ 40.62, albeit a slight decrease from the previous day.
A short half hour after trading on the Oslo Stock Exchange opened, it was Marine Harvest which topped sales list, and the company had an increase of 1.1 percent. Statoil followed soon after – up 0.5 percent. REC Silicon rose a total of 4.8 percent, while Seadrill, which rose violently last week, continued the last days downhill with a fall of 4.8 percent.
The main European stock markets remained largely at the same level as the day before – both the DAX 30 in Frankfurt and the FTSE 100 in London was down 0.11 percent, while the CAC 40 in Paris rose 0.13 percent. (© NTB)
