Marine Harvest boss happy with Q4 – Sunnmørsposten

Managing Aarskog said in a stock exchange announcement that he is very happy, the high cost of combating lice taken into account.

– High production costs in all regions remains a concern. We see, however, that our Norwegian operation performed well even with high sea lice costs. I want to commend the efforts the staff have made to deliver the beneficial quarterly results, says Aarskog in a stock exchange announcement.



Best in the West

Region West, which includes Sunnmøre and Nordfjord came out on top this time. Operational EBIT per kilo was at 16.2 million , up from 14 million in the same quarter in 2014. The average for the whole country even at just over 12 million.

The Group reports an operational EBIT of 837 million in the fourth quarter of 2015, compared with 1.032 million in the same quarter in 2014.

Marine Harvest Group reported operating revenues and other income of 8.060 million (NOK 6,863 million) in the fourth quarter of 2015.

A total harvest volume in the fourth quarter was 110,551 tonnes (105,122 tonnes).

Marine Harvest Norway achieved an operational EBIT per kg of NOK 12.14 (NOK 12.59) in the fourth quarter, while Marine Harvest Scotland and Marine Harvest Canada achieved an operational EBIT per kg respectively NOK -2 , 10 and NOK 3.32 (NOK -3.42 and NOK 3.69). Marine Harvest Chile achieved an operational EBIT per kg of NOK -12.28 in the quarter (NOK 0.35).
