Norwegian opens to complain flight taxes to ESA – OBI Online

– There is no empty threat, says communications director Anne-Sissel Skånvik in Norwegian Aftenposten.

In hearing his answer points Norwegian that the proposal stipulates that it shall be paid only one fee for each collected flight domestic . According to the company, this will favor the SAS, which enjoys a long route cooperation with partially owned Widerøe.

But if one chooses a combined travel with Widerøe and Norwegian, have to pay tax twice because companies have no route cooperation. And this think Norwegian is “unfair competition.”

Instead of air passenger duty proposes company that the government increases the CO2 tax on aviation fuel.
