A fall of 2.6 meters led to breakage of Ekofisk 2/4 M platform Saturday. ConocoPhillips will investigate the incident.
– Fall accident occurred during a visual inspection. The person who fell were immediately taken care of and transported to the Stavanger University Hospital. He remained conscious, says Stig S. Kvendseth, director of communications and government relations at ConocoPhillips Norway.
Kvendseth says to pursuits that ConocoPhillips takes a serious accident.
Both PSA and poliet were routinely notified of the accident.
