Better visibility of the organization

The goal this time is fewer middle managers, to get better visibility between management and production, said communications director.

– It’s already taken out one management level. Now it’s middle management level who will be affected, such as department managers, project managers, professional managers and functional managers, says Wollebæk.

Clean Up

From before, we know that Rolls-Royce employees Finnish Mika Makinen as a senior marine division to clean up the management structure.

once Sunnmørsposten mention this, the communications manager Wollebæk clearly more relaxed and calm.

– We have a head of marine division in Mikael Makinen who know the maritime market well. For us in Norway it is very reassuring. Wollebæk adds that there have recently been several Norwegians into the management team of marine division, which is managed from London.

– Until the end of last year we had one Norwegian management team. Now they are three, a total of eight, she said.

– This also provides great access to information to those under 2,000 employees in Norway, a total of 5,000 globally, she says.
