Marine Harvest will get rid of up to 500 employees in Chile – OBI Online

Marine Harvest has now decided to reduce its workforce in Chile with up to 500 employees, it is stated in a message.

The reason is the recent algal bloom and the poor results in the past year.

the company will in connection with the presentation of 1st quarter results May 11, come back with a comprehensive restructuring plan for operations in Chile.

Please note that Periscopus by Trygve OBI owns four million shares , equivalent to a stake of 0.9 percent in Marine Harvest.
