No sign of summer heat with the first – Aftenposten

– May have been a cool month and cooler than normal, says Gisle Foss. The statistics so far this month speaks for itself – the average temperature has been at 8.7 degrees, it is 2.1 degrees lower than the average for May.

Langtidsvarslelet towards next Wednesday are as follows: still unstable , relatively cool, sun occasionally, but no strong winds.

Last year at this time paraded Østlendingen around in shorts and enjoyed hot early summer. Now the low ones closest in line to throw over our country.

So hot it’s going to be ahead

It is not particularly summery overtemperature situation:

– Today and the next few days we’ll probably up between 10 and 15 degrees at midday. 20th century we can probably just forget, at least for the next few days. For there is new pressure to the west, waiting to get into the country, says Gisle Foss.

– The finest weather in the coming days, those who have had the worst so far, Finnmark and Troms. There will be plenty of sunshine, according to the meteorologist.

For Eastern and throughout southern Norway will in the coming days, however, not much different from what we’ve had lately:

jets hit not us in Norway

Changing weather. A little sun, a little rain and a chilly weather conditions.

– Yes, throughout the week we see that the cold and hot winds meet, and when we get a thunderstorm. As it looks today, it is quite likely, says Gisle Foss.

There is a warm jet stream over northern Europe, but it has a bit of southerly path that it hits us.

– The beneficiaries of this hot air experiencing temperatures of 20 degrees and then some. The heat has come quite far north in Europe, including Berlin where people can new fine summer days. But as the jet stream is expected to position themselves in the next few days there is no reason to hope that it will hit us. Also Copenhagen has the same type of weather as us, says Gisle Foss.

The spring months are often very unstable

He asks people to have patience with regard to summer heat:

– We know of course that the spring months, including May, can be capricious. It tends generally to be shifting weather conditions, as we are experiencing across the country now. But we can confirm that in May this year has been colder than normal. The days ahead will be the temperature at least something closer to normal, says Kristian Gislefoss.
