In the Opec report for April downsamples cartel according to TDN Finans estimate for world oil demand in 2016 to 94.18 million barrels per day. In previous monthly operating Opec with an estimate of 94.23 million barrels per day.
From 2015 to 2016 it is expected a demand growth of 1.20 million barrels per day, which is a downward revision from the previous estimate of 1.25 million barrels per day.
All 2015 estimates maintained virtually unchanged.
the cartel now expect demand at 31.46 million barrels per day by the opec oil, against former estimate of 31.52 million barrels per day in the previous report.
– Rapid changes in oil prices tends to increase uncertainty. (…) Current negative factors seem to outweigh the positives, and can possibly lead to downward revisions in oil demand growth, if current signals persist, the report said.
