Business Top indicted for serious trafficking – Fædrelandsvennen

The businessman from Oslo brought to detention Monday. He was arrested by police at the weekend at Oslo airport when he was going abroad, according to Dagbladet.

According to the newspaper revolves charges against the man on forced labor in connection with his business. The accused is the owner, CEO and Chairman of franchise company behind a small grocery chain.

Police would not comment on the grounds for the charges due to the risk of destruction of evidence, said prosecutor Ina Grande Jahre in Raumarike police. She would not say whether other persons are suspected of or charged in the case.

According to the man’s lawyer, John Christian Elden, the case concerns the poor wages.

He denies that the man tried to run away from the police. Elden said that the client knew about parts of the police suspicions against him before the planned trip. (© NTB)
