Telenor has identified child labor by its subcontractors in Myanmar. The company took the children down to 12 years who performed excavation work in connection with the Group’s network roll-out in the country.

The company revealed child labor despite the fact that Telenor’s subcontractors have signed that they will not hire anyone under 15 years of age and that no one under 18 should work on building sites for base stations.
