Oil Company terminates 28 employees in Trondheim – Adresseavisen

Teekay Offshore Productions says the 28 employees at Teekay Petrojarl Productions headquarters in Trondheim newspaper Dagens Næringsliv. The reason should be lower activity and macroeconomic environment due to lower oil prices.

In 2014 turnover Trondheim part of the company nearly 330 million, but ended the year with a deficit of 1.2 billion before tax.

The company operates with floating oil, and is owned by the Canadian company Teekay Corporation, which is one of the largest rederikonglomerater.

Trondheim office is responsible for the production units on the Norwegian continental shelf, as well as that they support the growing offices in Aberdeen and Brazil. The company has 189 employees in Trondheim and was started in 1974.
