Communication Øystein Thoresen Gjensidige employees 25-year-old Marie Brudevold to take care of social media, writes DN.

He is not alone in needing help, says 27-year-old Stian Reinhartsen, which operates his own consulting company Reinhartsen Consulting together with his brother.

The newspaper writes that he has become a sought after speaker and has been forced to staff six pieces in the last year.

– They usually contact us is male managers at 40 plus. Many of them want us to do Snapchat for their company, others will have coaching and inspiration, says Reinhartsen to DN.

– Do you agree with them in that they lack expertise in social media, asks the newspaper.

– of course there are people over 35 who are yummy on Snapchat, but it’s hard to keep up with the culture and development if one is not a natural part of it. You must be able to use what happens on social media in what you do yourself. For example, you know if Kanye West have tweeted something you can refer to. You should know what people are talking about. And if a company is not on social media, they will probably be perceived as old-fashioned. It is easy that younger consumers think the same about the brand they sell.
