For several years there have been waiting lists for the three blocks with address Thomas Heftyes gate 20, 28 and 30. When these apartments are to be sold, it is therefore never advertised anywhere.

– the market in this area has increased enormously in recent five years and it has evolved to become the definitely most expensive residential area. There are many customers who are on a waiting list, so this is pretty simple sales, says Odd Kalsnes.

– Why is the area so attractive?

– It’s not perfect, yet quiet and calm. Prior Bygdøy and Holmenkollen Oslo’s most fashionable districts, but now we see that people are looking more to the center. There will be political obstacles such as car use if you live farther away. It is also becoming more popular to stay in town for younger people with children.

– When famous people move to an area, the others follow, says Kalsnes.

In addition, investor Christen Sveaas, business leader and owner of Astrup Fearnley Collection Hans Rasmus Astrup, property investor Knut Gustaf Aspelin, shipowner Elisabeth Grieg and investor and billionaire Petter Olsen also be among the rich and famous neighbors in Kristiansand.

this summer was an apartment of 220 square meters in the same block sold 38 million. But it’s the penthouse flats, “penthouses” that accompanied Kalsnes get the really high prices.

Last November bought Eltek heir Morten Angelil two houses that are to be merged into a dwelling. The price for both units was 70 million, NOK 25 million for Gimle Terrasse 6 and 45 million for Gimle Terrasse 8.

– There have been some spectacular sales there, commenting Kalsnes.

– What does this sale to you?

– it will be written about, so for me it is positive. Acclaim as what interests people is always interesting.
