– The clock 11 today morning we received notification that a person was injured while working. The employee was quickly transported to Troms University for medical treatment, says communications director of Eni, Andreas Wullf NRK.
The accident occurred on Golitat platform.
Serious injury
– We have mobilized the necessary resources and the family is notified. They have been offered about Tromso to be present there, said Wullf.

Internal investigation
Eni has now launched an internal investigation.
