Consumers are skeptical. It is perhaps not surprising. When you are in a store to buy an item, it is often not the way how many additional products sellers will impose on you. But just leak the top you should say yes to.

At worst, you could get a reduction on the insurance payout should there be a leak.

You have obviously not buy Leak top the same place you buy white goods. Do you live in newer housing, it may already be installed. Most plumbers can offer this.

Technical Regulations under the Planning and Building Act (TEK10) requires that water installations shall be such that leakage is prevented to the greatest extent possible.

Any leaks should be easily detected and do not cause damage to other equipment or building components. Placed installations in rooms without sinks, they must be secured against leakage.
