VG: Parat offered 343 million in cuts – Sunnmørsposten

Internal calculations Parat that VG had gained access to the Saturday afternoon showed that the union had agreed to more cuts which together constitute 343 million.

187 million of this is cut and freezing of salaries , 90 million is cut into so-called license insurance, 27 million loss of inconvenience allowance and 39 million cut in holiday purchases.

Parat leader Hans-Erik Skjæggerud was Saturday clear that it is the point about job security is most important for pilots. The starting point for negotiations that started Saturday at 16 should have been adjusted offers from airlines where the company will underwrite the pilot’s working, as well as wages and working conditions, for three years.

However, this is not good enough for the pilots. Skjæggerud pointed after the break on Friday night that confidence that the parent company shall comply with their own appointments, diminished after several previous alleged breach of contract. In the past job offer warranty stated inter alia that the guarantee shall cease if it “occurs significantly changed circumstances.”

– We have gone to great lengths already, but will not give us the with job security. Kjos must at that point deliver something that our pilots actually believe. When the strike will be over, said Skjæggerud VG Saturday afternoon. (© NTB)
